As your the size of your email blasts increase, there is a greater possibility that at least some of your email recipient's accounts may temporarily be "down." When a message being delivered to a valid email address is not received as intended by a email server, Sherpa Mail begins a exhaustive process of re-attempting to deliver the message through a variety of paths over a 3 day period (sending as many as several thousand attempts) until the message is successfully received. If after 3 days the recipient's email server is still malfunctioning, Sherpa Mail advises you of the "bounce" so you can either remove the address or try another means of communication with the intended recipient.
